2. L'Eixample and surroundings

4. Grace
5. Tibidabo and Collserola mountain
1. The center
For people from Barcelona, although it is not the geographical center, it is usually located in the section that includes Plaza Cataluña and La Barceloneta. Although Barcelona's beaches are not known for being the most beautiful in Catalonia, the Barceloneta neighborhood (and surrounding areas) is full of life and leisure and is a must-visit during your Coliving experience in Barcelona.
A visit to this area involves a walk down Las Ramblas, the Mercat de la Boquería , the Barcelona Cathedral, the Liceu , the Plaça Reial, the Statue of Columbus, the Rambla del Mar, the Port of Barcelona, and the entire coastal area between the W Hotel and the Mapfre Towers, which hold behind them the spectacular Parc de la Ciutadella or the Arc de Triomf.
During this tour you can also try the famous Chocolate con Churros at Petritxol (you get 50% off for being a member of Haaus Coliving), eat the 1786 menu at Can Culleretes (one of the oldest and most typical Catalan food restaurants), have a good pint of Claudia at Black Lab (their most famous IPA beer), or eat one of the contemporary vegan dishes at The Green Spot (they have the best vegan chorizo we have ever tried).
In the port area you can also go out partying at Opium or play a game of poker at the Casino de Barcelona .
Discover our apartments on Calle Ferran or Calle Guardia to enjoy your coliving experience as close as possible to the most visited places in Barcelona.
2. L'Eixample and surroundings
It is a grid-like neighborhood, and it is quite large, but within it there are gems such as La Sagrada Familia , La Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, La Casa de les Punxes, La Plaza de Toros Monumental... the area with the greatest architectural interest is called "La Dreta de L'Eixample".
We recommend renting a bike and exploring the streets Avinguda Diagonal, Paseo de Gracia, Rambla de Catalunya, Carrer Casp, Carrer Bruc, Carrer Roger de Lluria, to fully enjoy the modernist, neo-Gothic and contemporary architecture of these streets.
Being a purely urban area, you will obviously also find hundreds of restaurants and nightclubs to go out in. Some of our recommendations for tapas or sandwiches are El Velódromo or Entrepanes Díaz . If you want to eat you can try an authentic Pollo a l'Ast at A Pluma (although our favourite is their fried chicken), or if on the contrary you want to have dinner with a show you can go to Gatsby and finally end the night with a party at Sutton or Bling Bling .
Take a look at our apartment on Calle Casanova or the one on Calle Comte d'Urgell in the L'Eixample neighborhood to enjoy the beautiful modernist area of Barcelona!
3. Montjuïc
Montjuïc is one of the most charming places in Barcelona. It is actually a mountain with views of the city and the sea (on its south side) full of parks, monuments, museums, spaces and restaurants. At the top of this mountain is the Palau Nacional, which has housed the Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya (MNAC) since 1934. It is undoubtedly one of the must-see places if you are visiting Barcelona, as the route from Plaça Espanya, passing by the Venetian Towers, continuing along the Font Màgica to the MNAC is beautiful, and you can enjoy one of the best sunsets in Barcelona, looking at the Collserola mountain while listening to some of the street musicians who play just below the museum's stairs.
Montjuïc is actually a mountain overlooking the city and the sea, full of parks, monuments, museums, spaces and restaurants.
And if that wasn't enough, Montjuïc also hosts some of the best parties in Barcelona, such as Brunch-in the city at Poble Espanyol. Enjoy!
4. The Gracia neighborhood
The neighbourhood of Barcelona's locals. A very charming neighbourhood, which seems to be from a small city, with a lot of intimate life in its streets. It is also full of bars, restaurants and squares where people meet to enjoy the climate and good atmosphere of Barcelona. It is famous for the decoration of the streets during its festivals and for the amount of leisure and gastronomic options it offers for young and not so young people.
Some of our recommendations for eating in Gracia are El Disbarat (traditional Catalan food, grills...), Kitsune (sushi) or Xàtiva (rice and paella).
Don't miss our apartment in the Gracia neighborhood to enjoy the most rural part of Barcelona!
5. Tibidabo and Collserola mountain
Barcelona is one of the best cities in the world to live a coliving experience because you always have something to do with your colivers. You have sea and mountains in the same city, and taking a hike on the Collserola mountain, running along La Carretera de les Aigües surrounded by wild boars, or visiting the Tibidabo monastery (you'll probably need to take a funicular to get up there), is one of the best things about it.
Discover our penthouse in the Sant Gervasi neighborhood to make the most of the upper area of Barcelona!
From the Carretera de Les Aigües or from Tibidabo you will see a panoramic view of the entire city of Barcelona while enjoying a natural setting with a spectacular Mediterranean climate. Let's see how many wild boars you can find!
The wild boar is one of the emblematic animals of the Collserola mountain and Barcelona, and the largest mammal in the area.
